Are your gift boxes eco-friendly?
Absolutely. Our stay fresh inner “cellophane” packaging is made from compostable plant-based material that offers a sustainable alternative to traditional packaging. The outer boxes have a plastic window, but you can recycle or compost this box once the window has been removed.
How far in advance should I place a large order?

Do you handle corporate and wedding orders?
Where do you source your ingredients?
We buy organic ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves from a local vendor in the Halifax area. Supporting local growers and spice merchants keeps our flavors fresh and our footprint small. We use Canadian organic flour, eggs, molasses, and shortening with dedication to keeping it local wherever possible.
Do you offer gluten-free or gluten-friendly options?
On request we bake a gluten‑friendly version of the classic recipe. While the ingredients are gluten free, anyone with celiac disease or severe gluten sensitivity should be aware we work in a mixed kitchen. While we take every precaution to avoid cross‑contact, wheat flour is used daily. We cannot guarantee zero cross‑contamination for severe allergies.
Can I order cookies with custom colours or designs?
Yes! Although “Celtic” is our primary theme, we tailor the designs to a variety of themes—holidays, birthdays, weddings, or corporate branding. Colours are generally only added to shortbread, or blonde gingerbread.
What are your pickup or delivery options?
You can collect your order at my upcoming market days provided we have at least one week’s notice, or you may choose local delivery within HRM for a reasonable fee with a minimum $50 order.
For orders with multiple flavours or designs, please allow a minimum of two weeks.
Delivery or shipping elsewhere in Nova Scotia may be arranged based on size and timing of your order. We are only accepting orders within Nova Scotia at this time.
